Off For A Chickie Day!

chickens

Hold down the fort, guys! I’m off to spend a wild and crazy day with my favorite Chickie, my wonderful cover designer and very good friend, Nicki Forde. Nicki is an amazingly talented graphic designer who always “gets” my vision, and then improves on it. She’s also the best friend anyone could ask for. See ya tonight!

    • Thanks! Had a wonderful time, and came home happy and relaxed. Ready to rock and roll this week!

      • I have to get my energy up and rock and roll myself! So much to do…. And if I would get the real work done, then I could play!

        • You were still getting your energy up at nearly 1:00am? (That’s when this post came in.) I was trying desperately to get mine DOWN by then. 😀 And play? What’s that? I’m afraid I don’t play a lot these days…my characters do, though, so that works for me! 😉 Otherwise, my life is pretty much laundry and writing. And I’m not too concerned about the laundry! Have a great Moon’s Day!

          • Don’t tell anyone, but I am a vampire…. I only function from about 8pm onward to about noon the next day. Then I am out for the count! Oh, and I just finished 7 loads of laundry – yes, I wait until I have no more pajamas, and no more sheets, before I grow up and do my laundry!

I want to quilt and knit, but I have too much to dooooooo!!!! Ah well, things could be worse, right? One of the things I need to do is read your book, so that makes you happy, right? ROFL

            • Oh, now that you mention it, I seem to remember this vampirish nature of yours. I lean that way, myself, but have had to make concessions to living with those who don’t. When you get around to reading my book, I do hope you enjoy it. It’s an ever-ongoing learning process, for sure, and I like to think each book is written better than the previous one. 🙂
