Midnight Inspiration?

Why, oh why, do I succumb to the urge to write heartfelt, detailed reviews at midnight?  In the bright light of morning, I nearly always discover typos and other errors galore, and have to spend as long editing as I did writing the the whole thing!  GAH.  But sometimes, midnight is when the creative urge strikes, so what can I do but apologize to those early birds who read the posts before I’ve had a chance to clean them up.  My writing isn’t perfect at the best of times, but it definitely suffers  in those wee, small hours.

I HAVE learned not to close a book and rush straight over to review it before I’ve had time to think it through for a day or so.  I nearly always find that upon further reflection, the book is seldom as good…or as bad…as my immediate reaction suggested.  One lesson learned, at any rate.

Happy Reading, Folks!
