Inspiration? Could be! Check ’em out!

The Write Stuff

It was a dark and stormy night . . .

There’s a reason “a dark and stormy night” is such a cliché, you know–there’s hardly a more dramatic setting imaginable–so I thought it would be fun to share some storm images with you today. I suspect there’s inspiration to be found amid these pictures, and I hope you enjoy looking through them. (But you might want to use a different opening line when you start your own dark and stormy tale . . . if you want to be taken seriously, that is.)  Check ’em out and let your imagination soar.

  1. Truly inspirational. I like the lighthouse pic most of all… but I’m told there are already tons of lighthouse stories out there…

    • Thanks, Jazz. Glad you liked them. BTW, I’m told there are tons of romantic suspense stories out there, too, but I keep on writing them. I might even include a lighthouse in one, who knows? 😀 I’m a firm believer in it’s how you tell the tale that counts, so if you like the lighthouse, go for it. Maybe a short story to get your imagination going?
