    • Do you have a dachshund? I have two. Along with the four cats. Ridiculous to have so many animals in one house. But we’ve had more at various times. We’re phasing out, though. Some of these guys won’t be replaced with they head off to that great lizard hunting ground in the sky. 🙂

Do have “a” dachshund, nope I have 3 plus a mix breed that is part Berenese Mt Dog that thinks he is a Doxie!! lol Like you we will be phasing them out, the Bernese mt dog is now 12 yrs old so he will most likely be the first to travel over that rainbow bridge where Tom will be waiting for him.

        • I don’t know how I didn’t know (or remember) that. I’m such a dachshund lover! But too old to mess with any more when these two are gone. Man, they are a lot of work. Dogs, in general. Cats are so much easier. But I have too many of those, too. I’m aiming for a two cat household, eventually.

You are so right, but right now I think any animal is too much work. But sadly I know we will be down one soon, poor ole Snoopy is 12 yrs old and we notice so many changes in him.
