So Many Books. So Little Time. Let's Review!

What Are You Reading?

bearreading

Got so busy with my FREE-ky Friday Lunch Time Giveaway that I forgot to ask the requisite Friday question…what are you reading? As always, inquiring minds wanna know, even when we forget to ask!

I’m two-thirds of the way through Lee Child’s Latest Jack Reacher book, Never Go Back. As always, I am in awe of Lee Child’s ability to make Jack Reacher so interesting. You’d think that after 18 (yes, that’s 1 and 8) books, I’d be tired of Reacher, but you’d be wrong. There has only been one Reacher book that I got annoyed with, and that was purely because it became too political for my taste. The other 17 have each been riveting to me, and this one is, as well. I stayed up until 3:00am reading last night, and even though I’m paying for it today, it was worth it. I’ll be reviewing this one soon.

So, tell me…what are YOU reading this week?

  1. I’ve got so many books on the go right now, I wouldn’t know where to begin…One of the best things about a Kindle, carrying around a small library in that little space. 😉 Happy Reading and Happy Week Marcia.

    • Oh, like me, a multiple book at a time reader. I love that! And yes, Kindle is so many wonderful things, and that’s one of them. I always have a full library with me, wherever I go. It’s great! (But I still buy plenty of print books, too.)

Happy Reading to you, too, and have a great week! Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I’m currently reading The Professor and the Madman, a true story about a man in a asylum who contributed a bunch to the Oxford English Dictionary.

I finished the last book I was reading last night, and haven’t opened another one, so for right now at least, I’m only reading one book. 😉

    • “Only reading one book…” Aren’t we crazy, we people who have to be reading every spare minute, and aren’t always satisfied with just ONE book at a time? Talk about compulsions! Well, I guess it’s a better addiction than many! 🙂 And it sounds like an interesting book, too. Thanks for letting me know. Always making notes, here.

      • Hey, it’s an important balance. Like a darker book combined with a light and fluffy book, so when the serious one gets you down, you can take a little break. Or a 900 page brick with a slim little paperback so you don’t hurt yourself on errands.

        We’re not crazy, we’re practical.

Not reading anything at the moment… we had a busy, crazy, hectic few days with my daughters b-day and sleepover with her friends and once I start a book, I have to say, I get obsessed, nothing else gets done and I am lost. I have been doing my cross stitch and patiently waiting for you to begin writing 🙂
