Quote #74 – Cole Porter

Grosbeak

“It’s spring again,
And birds on the wing again,
Start to sing again,
The old melody…”

I like it. Gets me in the mood to garden.

    • Hi, Felix! Great to see you here! I love it when you stop by. Yep, I’ve been humming it for several days now. Doing more humming than gardening, I’m afraid, but at least I’m THINKING about it! Does that count?

Sorry it does not count. But we’ll make an exception for you if you keep on writing and visit your little guy.

    • Dang. I was really hoping that thinking about gardening was as good as doing it, because then I could try thinking about sweeping and thinking about laundry and thinking about dirty dishes. *sigh* Guess I’ll have to stick with the old-fashioned approach.

I took a break from writing this afternoon…been sneezing all day and just didn’t feel up to it for a while. But now I’m back, and I’ve written the opening paragraphs of the next chapter, finally. I’m pretty sure I can finish it by tomorrow, so look for it soon.

Give Jonas & Celia hugs from their Aunt Marcia.
