Let’s Get Digital by David Gaughran

David Gaughran's Let's Get Digital Cover

My Rating: 5 of 5 Stars

If you have any interest in writing and publishing a book of any kind, and you haven’t yet checked out both David Gaughran’s blog and his book, Let’s Get Digital, you really should.  I downloaded the Kindle version of the book after reading a post on self-publishing by Cristian Mihai, and I have found it to be fascinating.  It is filled with interesting information on the publishing business, including traditional methods and self-publishing, both in print or via digital ebooks.  Gaughran makes a very compelling case for giving ebooks a try, but Let’s Get Digital was an eye opener for me in many other ways.  It is available in print or as an ebook from various sellers. I got mine on amazon, as I have a Kindle and that is where I naturally gravitate for shopping.

I highly recommend this book, no matter which version you choose, or from which seller.  There is so much to learn about publishing in general and specifically about digital publishing, it is well worth reading cover to cover.  A list of resources is included, which is very valuable to anyone just getting started.  I’m very happy I bought Let’s Get Digital, and feel much more prepared for what lies ahead if I decide to publish the book I’m writing.  If writing is your thing, check it out, and be sure to let me know what you think!
