  1. That’s easy 3/4 to death.

  4. I was thinking that, too, but Steve (above) is right. If you are scared in HALF, then scared again by half of THAT…well, you are three quarters gone. Hopefully no one will scare you out of that last quarter, though!

  5. Would you ever be scared to death? Seems like the half goes on for infinity.

  6. Well…I’m thinkin’ if I, myself, were swimming at, oh, say, Daytona Beach, and I saw a Great White Shark approaching, I would be dead meat before it got to me. Either my heart would stop from fear, or I would just give up and start inhaling water on purpose. Either way, fear would certain contribute toward my immediate demise. Now if it were a very small Great White Shark…the lesser known Tiny White Shark, perhaps…I would maybe survive the heart attack, which could then be referred to as being scared only “half” to death. But this is just me. And my sharky phobia. I am in no way a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, so I can’t speak for anyone else’s death related response to fear, in whole numbers OR fractions.
