So Many Books. So Little Time. Let's Review!

Dresden Files News

For all you Harry Dresden fans out there who are anxiously awaiting publication of  Jim Butcher’s next Dresden Files book (like ME!), just wanted to give an update.  According to a report dated August 7, Penguin books has still not confirmed a release date for “Cold Days.”  Is it just me, or does it seem like forever since we’ve been able to get our Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden fix?  There IS a delightful short story in “Hexed,” reviewed here on this blog.  But still.  I need more!  So many questions at the end of “Ghost Story!”

If I get any information on a firm release date for “Cold Days,” rest assured it will be posted here.  In the meantime, maybe you’d settle for a picture of my OWN Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden?  When I found this little guy in the woodpile (honest!) last year, I knew exactly what I was naming him.  And his calico sister is Sgt. Karrin Murphy.  They don’t really do much for my Harry & Murph withdrawal symptoms, but they ARE cuddle-worthy.

Afraid that’s the best I can do right now.  But I’ll keep you posted on all Dresden Files news I find!  To check for updates directly from the source, check out Jim Butcher.com.  Have a look around.  You’ll find complete lists of all of Jim’s books, including his graphic novels, and much more, although I confess I wish he had time to keep his blog more current.  However, I’m assuming he’s way too busy writing more books for our reading pleasure, and that’s a worthwhile tradeoff.

Do you have a favorite Dresden Files book?  Which one & why?
